Objectives

1. Objectives of the Association

The following activities will be conducted under the contemporary Acts and Laws.

To enable the Magar community to render the active contribution to the development of the country.
To unify all Magars.
To research, preserve, and promote the Magar script, language (Athara Magarat, Kaike, Barha Magarat), religion, literature, culture, history etc.
To make an effort to get the Magar language taught in the universities and schools.
To develop positive as well as fraternal perspective towards the cultural, social and religious norms and values.
To disseminate education among Magars and create awareness.

2. Programme

In order to accomplish the aforementioned objectives, the association will conduct the following programmes:

To hold seminar, speech, discussion programme, symposium, interaction programme, meeting, etc in the various parts of the country.
To publish books, booklets, newspapers and bulletins.
To contact national and international sisterly organizations.
To organize Magar folk cultural programmes, exhibition, demonstration etc.
To provide scholarships to underprivileged but hardworking as well as brilliant Magar students.
To keep in touch with the concerned government and non-government organizations.#
To provide the helpless Magars with financial, judicial and other necessary supports.
To make effort to provide employment as well as employment oriented trainings to Magars.
To eliminate the outdated and regressive customs and rituals prevalent in the Magar community.
To encourage the Magars living in the non-Magar speaking regions to speak the Magar language.
To conduct classes of the Magar language.
To solve the conflict and quarrel between Magars by the concerned committee.
To undertake the essential activities for the rights, well being and the resurrection of Magars.
To strike a contract as per the need to spend on the purpose of the association to earn variable as well as property. To conduct all the activities the way an organization formed to do financial transactions does.
To all the activities, which are relevant and helpful to the achievement or implementation of the objectives of the association.
To get the data and information about Magars living within and outside country collected.
To request His Majesty Government to disseminate and advertise the knowledge oriented programmes about Magar language and culture through the government mass media.
